Roane County, TN –We are told in James 1:27 to go to the widows and orphans…yet among us
is an ever-growing number of single-moms and unfathered children.
In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul writes of one unified Body of believers… but due to denomination and
doctrine, unity is often a challenge.
Whether it be alcohol, drugs, or another domestic issue, so many of our kin lack hope for the
future.
The Good News is that we have a Father who loves us beyond imagination. He will continue to love
us until the end of time—and He deeply desires to use us to show that Love to others.
The story of the Refuge is a testament to this very Love and to the amazing ways He will work
through us if we are willing. The Refuge vision is simply this:

- Life skills (self-discipline, child-disciplining boundaries)

- Importance of a healthy lifestyle
